Privacy Policy

MyPocketScanner ("the app") is built to be private by design. Everything the app does happens on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Period.

Data Collection: None

The app does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, diagnostics, or identifiers. There are no accounts, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party analytics tools of any kind.

How Your Data Is Handled

• Business card photos and scans are processed entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device text recognition. They are stored only in the app's local storage on your device and never leave it.
• Camera access is used only to photograph business cards when you choose to scan one.
• Photo library access is used only when you choose to import an existing photo of a business card.
• Contacts access is used only when you tap to save a scanned card to your contacts. The app writes the new contact; it does not read, upload, or analyze your existing contacts.
• Exports (PDF, CSV, JSON) are created locally and shared only where you choose to send them.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchase entitlements are verified on your device via Apple's StoreKit framework. For details, see Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Deletion

Because all data lives on your device, you are in full control. Delete individual cards in the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data. Contacts you saved remain in your Contacts app until you remove them there.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If the app's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
